Well, nearly :)
So I attempted to make my own June Desktop Background...It's all Mindy Terasawa.. love her designs!
I do have a layout, well a few, cookin' in my brain. I was all ready to take off and fly with them, but then I heard thunder.. and I lost all concentration.
We love a good storm around this house! Now it smells so unbelievably good....
Hey, and I must say I did pretty well catchin' up...
Let's see if my stellar math skills can process this one...
January 12 + February's 3..
15
Plus March's 0 :D
Still... 15!
15 plus April's 3 = 18...
And I got 28 done in May..
18 + 28 = 46
Hmmm... only 98 to go!
:)

An apple a day..
Can I just say that Katie Pertiet is the bomb!!!
I have been loving her stuff and Mindy (love the name too ;)!!) Terasawa's creations.
Go here to find them..
Love this new barcode font too... may not be "new", but is new to me!
So I still have the give away from February to mail out (I know, GASP!!)... sorry Bree!!
I just can't help myself..
I got PhotoShop and just keep on making it cuter... over and over and over again..
I promise, I have some bonus goodies to make up for it's tardiness, hopefully they make up for it :)

The last..
The last of the hospital layouts...
Maybe the thoughts of another new little one (Cori Marie ;)..) will dissipate.
I so miss being pregnant.. birth, nursing :(

something quick..
After PTA-ing all day (fun friends make the difference between a long day and a fun day...) I put this together quickly.. the font, my new treat from dafont.com (thanks Brooke!!)I also did these for our mom's (a.k.a. Grandmas) for Mother's Day.. had to wait for it to be over to post them ;)Some of the grandchildren, you will see, are on both.. I can explain: my brother married his wife, who happens to be my husband's sister.. the kiddos are double cousins! Now how fun is that?!

Flocking fun..
Nope, not meant to be a pseudo-swear :)
Real, crushed velvet flock from Doodlebug Designs.. one of my newest toys.Still catching up on the family album (I won't say how far back I REALLY am..) but am trying to hurdle over Peyton's birth pictures.. without crying on them.So here's the down-low on crushed velvet flock (if you don't already know.. it was new to me!)..
You can use glue pen, gluey stamp pad, double-sided tape, glue stick, or even your Xyron (I used my sticker maker).
1- Apply glue to whatever you desire to be flocked, you can even stamp an image, but don't make it goopy.
2- Over a scrap piece of paper (or other nifty tool used to catch extra stuff..), sprinkle your crushed velvet onto the glued area.
3- Shake extra off. Press the crushed velvet into the glue (see why you don't want it to be goopy :)..).
4- Transfer left over product back into the storage jar.Now I am off to fold more laundry (the never-ending task), and then enjoy some Double Stuffed Oreos with SKIM milk.. so do those two cancel each other out or what? :D

So, you wanna talk..
This is mostly for Ally..
You said you want to talk :)
It's soooooo easy.. I promise!!
First of all, go to Adobe. Download PhotoShop Elements 7 (free for 30 days).
Then go here. Mrs. Sprague is an awesome teacher..
Take this tutorial first, then this one.. and end with this one.
Then go to this amazing woman.. she'll do a lot of footwork for you.
Then, just play.
That's how I have learned most of what I have done.. a few friends (thanks gals!!) have helped when I have had some questions, and of course YouTube.. really..
I hope you try it, like it, and feel comfortable doing it!

Getting my hands "dirty"..
It is so much fun doing digi..
But I do have a craving for the traditional!
I have been putting-off scrapping these pics, they are from a sweet moment in life that I miss just about everyday. I would be in heaven to be pregnant everyday!! Now Merrill, on the other hand, might not like that so much ;)It's hard too, to scrap them right now, because Peyton is the age Lynn (#1) was when I was pregnant with Ash (#2).. my body tells me I should be growing something right now :(
I kept working at these, thinking, "If I were doing these digi, they would be done already.." But hey, I am getting there!I love the new font!! I tracked down this font (I had American Crafts letter stickers in this font and I loved them sooo much..) it's Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge. Better yet, I found a website that was having a promo last week, 2 cartridges for $50.. so I have another cartridge to go get my hands dirty with!
I also did some Mother's Day cards. Love my butterfly punch.. another Internet hunt-down and find tool..Loving the pop-up dots too!

I LOVE YouTube!!
Sounds off the wall crazy for a craft blog, eh?
But when I was having trouble loading some new layers, the directions weren't matching up with my layout of PSE.
My sweet sister-in-law suggested YouTube..
"I learned how to crochet from watching YouTube!!"
Hey, I used it to help me cast-off on a knitting project (it had been a while since I'd last done it!), but never considered it for computer stuff..
Well, the brown glittery layer is my joy now, thanks to YouTube.. oh, and you too, Brooke! :)

Digital..
I got my PhotoShop the other day in the mail..
I have been dying to try it out.
The more I thought about it, the more freaked-out I got..
So, I hunted..
Bought some traditional scrappy stuff online..
Looked at a few digital blogs.. thought about buying some kits.. felt overwhelmed, again.. and remembered this e-mail from a wonderful woman, laying, un-opened in my inbox..
Thanks to her tutorial, quick page, and awesomeness, here's my result:Fun thing to do late at night when the kiddos are in bed and the hubbs is down at work with a FULL HOUSE (yeah!!)
Happy National Scrapbooking Day tomorrow!!!
I hope to get a lot done...
