consolatory prizes...

for those of you who didn't win the prize for the 14 day challenge... i.e. if you are not Christie... here's your consolation prize:
I got Stacy's to her, Jaclyn's to her and Tiff's to Jacks to get to Tiff...
I forgot to give Brooker's hers today... will get Randee hers... and send off Ally's!

helped Jaclyn with these yesterday...
they look cuter with smaller treats.

My lastest crafts...

This was sooo complicated...
-bought the magnet board, took out the sheet metal.
-sanded and spray-painted the wood frame.
-glued ribbons to the back and put the metal back in.
-flipped it over and tied the ribbon...
viola!
Signs just as complicated (okay, a few more steps...)
-trace letters on to scrapbook paper.
-cut wood long enough to fit your word on.
-sand and paint (I like to spray paint, fast and smooth...)
-modge podge on your letters, or I like the Xyron...
-put a sealing coat of modge podge on.
-attach ribbon to the back to hang, or pick another hanger of choice.
(I like to use rub-ons too.)


The canvases are the same process as the signs, just with a picture underneath and they are canvas instead of wood, obviously. I like to wrap ribbon around the outside to add texture and hide staples.

Photo corners are glued only on the outside edges so you can slide your favorite pics in!

What to do with all of this...

Believe it or not, I curled more...
I said I had plans, and a bunch of outfits lined-up to coordinate with...See, they turned out cute! And I have a stash of curled ribbon already cut to make more!

My project for the day...Thanks to Christie for teaching us how to make curly bows a couple of weeks ago!
